Site-Specific Works

Site-specific works mark the transition from the painted surface to architectural and environmental scale. In these projects, the line leaves the frame and enters into direct relationship with walls, interiors, public space, natural light and the movement of people. The work is shaped by the conditions of its location and changes according to distance, perspective and atmosphere.

Mimesi del Sogno

Mimesi del Sogno is a site-responsive installation developed for Orticolario at Villa Erba on Lake Como. The project extends Mindshapes’ research into wave-like structures, reflection and perception within a living botanical environment. Reflective forms, vegetation and spatial movement create a shifting relationship between artwork, viewer and landscape. Rather than treating the dream as an escape from reality, the installation approaches it as a perceptual threshold: a space where natural forms, ecological transformation and imagined landscapes enter into dialogue.
